What this site collects, why, and what you can do about it. Effective October 7, 2026.
The short version
- If you fill out the contact form, we get what you typed. We use it to answer your request.
- The site uses Google Analytics to count visits. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do that.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

What you send us
The contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address, a subject and a message. Only your name and phone number are required. Netlify, the company that hosts this site, receives the form, stores the submission and emails it to us.
We use what you send, and anything you tell us by phone or email, to answer your request, walk the job, write an estimate and do the work if you hire us. We keep it as long as we need it for that and for our records of the job. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we need it for a job we did for you, such as tax or warranty records.
What the site records on its own
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to learn how people use this site: which pages get visited, how people found the site, what kind of device and browser they use, and roughly where they are, to about the city. It doesn't give us your name, phone number or email address.
To recognize a returning browser, Google Analytics sets cookies on this site, named _ga and_ga_ followed by an ID. They last up to two years unless you clear them.

To opt out, install Google's add-on below, or block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The site works the same without Google Analytics.
Hosting logs
Netlify, which hosts this site, records standard technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. It uses them to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- The site has no advertising trackers.
- The Facebook link in the footer takes you to Facebook. What happens there falls under Facebook's policy, not this one.
Children
This site is for homeowners. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change what the site collects, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
